An Assumedly Original Title

for the three of you who read this.

I recognize that any logical person would read my last post and be lead to believe that I was talking about a lady.

Nope, I was purposely misleading.

I was actually talking about my shit-fest audition in SF. I just thought I would, now, make that clear so as to prevent any inquiries into my dreary love life, or lack thereof. Well, a couple more days until I settle back into the old humdrum schedule of school, life, and the inane minutiae of an agenda set in Lakewood, Colorado. At least I have you all.

Fuck G4 tv and that stupid show, which I actually like, but I need to vent somehow. Damnit.

The woes of dissapointment

Some girls set themselves up for heartbreak. Some guys do too. I am one of those guys.

Well at least I got some new pics uploaded from California. Check em out. And for the love of God, would you people comment? I need some sort of affirmation, especially now.

and the verdict is...

Yea, wow. Well, I stood in line from about 11:30am till about 4pm. For what? For a one minute moment of spectacular nerve-wracking embarrasment. We were given a paper with lines. I muffed em up. I was more nervous than...than something that is known to be super nervous. Nonetheless, at least I got asked some questions after finishing my little line. Most people got asked no questions, especially at the end of the day, which is when I got in there.

I'm not banking on anything. It'd be nice to have a callback, but probally not realistic. It was fun, either way, and I met a few cool people (which is what every loser says when he or she realizes their pathetic (in)ability to speak in front of a camera and, thus, resign themselves to a life of inane and redundant work in making money for the big cheese and little for yourself. I wanted that, only in front of a camera).

I'm going to order expensive Tiramisu from the room service menu now. And then, tonight, I'm going to eat fresh crab off of pier 39. And then, tomorrow, I'm coming bag to Colorado. And then...awww.

the long journey to a quick decision

Well, I'm leaving out my hotel room in about 5 minutes to travel down to Blue Sky Rental Studio #5 in order to try out to be the new cohost of 'Attack of the Show'. It's taken a whole lot to get to a place where a decision will be made in but a moment. Well, wish me luck the one or two people who actually read this.

Beautiful, bottled, H2O

I still remember when bottled water was sort of a novelty. I remember joining in with my dad ridiculing those, on local news or CNN stories, who were proud consumers of Aquafina water; why in the hell would you buy bottled water!? Pure idiocy! Just drink tap!

We now have a colossal supply of 'Arrowhead' bottled water in our garage. The suspected foolishness of purchasing bottled water has long since passed under the shadow of the obvious and clear superiority of bottled over tap. 'It tastes better; it's much healthier; it's more conveniant.'

Well, long story short, this article forces the folleys of my ways to the forefront of my mind. Definately read it - it's short and entertaining. Oh. And educational, if you're into that.

Hot coffee spills over...

Anyone who's anyone, at least in the realm of geekdom, knows all about the 'hot coffee' controversy surrounding the, somewhat, recently released game, 'Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas', which has even more recently been pulled from shelves until either the game recieves an 'Adult Only' rating from the ESRB or gets rid of the deeply hidden and utterly unaccessable (without a 3rd party mod) content that is the source of this whole mess of a controversy.

My question, are the various fuming politicians', i.e. Clinton's, gaze fixed in the wrong direction when pre-pubecent little children are encouraged to tote around one of these death-dealing harbingers of mass destruction?

Yes, that is an actual RPG launcher. Have fun Suzy. Have fun blowing someone up with this. Let his or her body parts rain down upon you as confetti for the victorious. Don't worry about all the damage war, and ignorence or avoidence to its repricussions, have on everyone including you. Don't worry about all the mental baggage that...what the hell??? Is that kid playing an almost entirely inaccessable, unfinished and clearly not meant to be played mini-game, hidden deep below depths of coding, only reachable via 3rd party hackers and thier mods, which therefore really makes it that kids own fault that he or she is playing it, where you have to really use your imagination in order to get any sort of sexual gratification from, but if your desperate enough to do it, you will? Suzy - hang on to this insanely dangerous, both bodily and to your cognitive development, weapon while I go sue Rockstar games for not being impenitrable to hackers and modders of the highest caliber.

This brings out the age old debates about which video games kids can play, which ones they cannot, which ones shouldn't have ever been made at all, etc. My thought: Parents, moniter your stupid, stupid children.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not supporting the 'hot coffee' mod, but I think the attack on it is just - plain - silly. I would almost be tempted to think this situation as sort of a scapegoating...for numerous reasons...but I will go no further...they are reading this site.

a moment of your time, if you will

I am still working to get this site halfway decent looking, I think I'm about halfway to halfway. So, while I continue working away on this thing, you can answer a question of mine: is myspace.com an affront to the blogging community, as I suspect, or is it not? Though this may be too harsh, which I doubt, I view 'myspace' as sort of a wastedump of all things stupid and uncultured, here is evidence.  'myspace' is too much of an easy 'in' to the online community; all one has to do is answer numerous inane surveys and post pictures of thier teenage friends without shirts or in thongs. And just like that, they have been initiated into a realm of people formerly reserved for those with some tech savy skills and something important to say. Sort of like a bunch of shitty apartments with a bunch of beat-up cars, toys, crying babies, junkies, used fireworks, sewer grates, crab grass, beer cans, candy wrappers, biting dogs, drunk neighbors, and chain fences in the front yard, being thrown into the middle ofa place like this.

But then again, somehow I got into the blogging community.

Assignment: If you agree, leave the best example of the worst of 'myspace' you find. Similarly, if you disagree, change my mind with some 'myspace' that escapes the idiotic drudgery of what I find there. For those of you with a 'myspace', depending on who you are, I appologize, sort of.
